NZ Landcare Trust Planting: Waikākāriki Horseshoe La

It's planting season again! Join us as we continue to plant in the Ōtākaro Avon River Corridor to regenerate this special place.  Today's planting is a partnership between CVNZ and The NZ Landcare Trust. Today we'll continue our enrichment planting at Waikākāriki /Horseshoe Lake. Waikākāriki is part of the Ōtākaro Avon River Corridor, a 604 hectare space along the river that was home to thousands of people before the 2011 earthquakes. We'll be planting in the redeveloped area at the end of Goodman Place, adding to the plantings in this re-emerging wetland.  Join us from 10am for a yoga warm up. Planting from 10:30am.
